HP Deskjet 1000
While the Deskjet 1000 does have its limitations, it is surprisingly strong for what it is. At just $30, the Deskjet 1000 can print reliably, it can print anything from glossy to normal documents and it can print at a reasonable speed. If you’re strapped for cash but need a printer, the Deskjet 1000 won’t disappoint.
HP OfficeJet 6000 Wireless
The HP OfficeJet is a great office printer, but more geared to documents than photos. It can handle photos, but it is not intended for them. That said, the wireless printer makes it very easy to network, allowing multiple users to access the printer so that you can simply have one printer for the whole office. At $80, the price is nice, too.
HP Deskjet 3050 All in One
If you just need one machine to do everything for you, the Deskjet 3050 prints, scans and copies. It can do documents, photos, black and white and color, it has a 25 sheet output tray, flawless wireless connectivity, sixty sheet input tray, and prints, scans and copies all at reasonable speeds. At $80, you could do much worse for an all-in-one printer.
Selecting a printer does not have to be a difficult process.
