A Singapore based company by the name of Inke has developed a low cost cartridge refill system. The system with 3 replacement ink tanks retails for about $70 but you can probably get it for less than that. A single cartridge refill costs only one third of what a new branded cartridge would cost and it truly is a one touch refill system. You place the cartridge in the refill machine along with a refill tank, close the lid and press a button. It really is that simple!

A well maintained inkjet cartridge can be refilled up to six times before print quality begins to suffer. Of course some basic rules still need to be followed such as never letting your inkjet cartridge run completely dry since that can damage the print head on the cartridge. Other manufacturers will undoubtedly create their own versions of the one touch ink refill system and drive prices even lower.

Cheap ink cartridge refills will continue to remain popular and refilling them is becoming a whole lot easier which should make them even more popular.
