Generic ink cartridge - a cheap alternative to brand name cartridges

A generic ink cartridge can save you at least 50% or more on your ink cartridge costs. When buying generic inks you're paying for the ink and not the brand name. Ounce for ounce printer ink can be very expensive. It has even been compared to the price of vintage Champaign! Since the cost of a printer is extremely low inkjet printer manufacturers have long relied on the false economic sense one gets when purchasing an inexpensive color inkjet printer. It's common knowledge that over the long run an inkjet printer owner could end up easily paying up to 10 times, or more, the cost of the printer in replacement inkjet cartridges! That's why purchasing generic ink cartridges makes so much sense - or should we say dollars. It can potentially save you half or more on your ink costs.

A generic or compatible cartridge is built to the specifications of the original ink cartridge so there shouldn't be any hesitation in considering them. That's true of generics regardless of what you purchase. Most of us have no problem buying a generic drug like aspirin so why should an ink cartridge be any different? In fact, manufacturers are unwittingly pushing customers toward generic cartridges. Epson for example has a chip inside their ink cartridges that disables them from being used after a set amount of time even though the cartridge is still useable. Even though the problem can be easily remedied by purchasing a relatively cheap universal chip resetter it ends up turning customers away by forcing them to consider viable alternatives in order to meet their inkjet printer ink needs.

Be an informed and smart consumer by considering generic cartridges and take a significant step toward controlling your printing costs. You'll be glad you did.

In tandem with the evolutionary progress of inkjet printers, the inkjet paper industry has also witnessed considerable research and development activities. The goal was clearly defined. Inkjet paper should be cheap, plain and glossy enough to produce high quality textual, graphical and photographic printouts. This kind of inkjet paper was developed by application of a primer agent on the paper that is capable of binding the pigment onto the paper thereby producing bright quality color prints.
