A generic ink cartridge can save you at least 50% or more on your ink cartridge costs. When buying generic inks you're paying for the ink and not the brand name. Ounce for ounce printer ink can be very expensive. It has even been compared to the price of vintage Champaign! Since the cost of a printer is extremely low inkjet printer manufacturers have long relied on the false economic sense one gets when purchasing an inexpensive color inkjet printer.
